<p>from a life prospective, go for the extra year. What is your MS in. What about doing things outside your major. If you are a humanity major, take science; if you are a science major, take humanities.</p>
<p>Having a MS or 3 year degree will not make you stand out. Doing something different will.</p>
<p>i'd like to take more humanities classes, but i already have plenty under my belt. plus, i hear an m.s. makes an applicant stand out, relatively speaking. it'll be in mathematics, btw.</p>
