<p>Is anyone else applying or does anyone have any words of wisdom to share about his/her experience and advice for applicants?</p>

<p>Last year there were only 2 attendees west of the Mississippi.</p>

<p>I attended last year, and there were many students from the west. 4 or 5 from Cali alone, and then multiple international students from China (not sure whether to count this as “west” of the Miss). If you guys have questions about the program, I’d be happy to talk to you.</p>

<p>Oh, by the way, I recommend this program whole-heartedly. It was an amazing experience.</p>

<p>I am a hopeful. Any updates on when they will release who got accepted?</p>

<p>I really hope I get in too. It’s either this or an internship for me and I would definitely prefer going to this. I just don’t like how they give such a big range for acceptances. :frowning: I thought that they would release some on Monday. But, now I think maybe this Friday or next. Please post if there’s any updates!</p>

<p>Just got an acceptance email! Someone on another post said the acceptance rate last year was 25%, so I’m assuming it’s around that. Unfortunately we only have 9 days to decide whether to go, so hopefully other programs come out soon.</p>

<p>So… How was it? I’m thinking about applying next year.</p>

<p>Also, how does it compare in prestige/difficulty to get in with, say, LEAD?</p>

<p>M&TSI was phenomenal - but intense. If you’re used to sleeping, it will be tough.
Teachers - great, peers - great, speakers -great.</p>

<p>I don’t know how to describe it, but PM me if you have questions.</p>

<p>I am interested in applying as well…I have not had the best grades thus far, but this year (junior year) I have started getting mostly As and A-s what do you think is a determining factor for getting into the program. I also go to one of the top new england prep schools.</p>
