Mac Laptop

Just thought I would throw this out to everyone…does anyone have any suggestions about laptop screen size? I am getting a Mac for college this fall and am going back and forth in my mind about screen size. A 13" screen allows for ease of transporting to and from classes, but is a 13" screen too small for the dorms? A 15" may be good for the dorms but too large to lug around campus. Any thoughts? Thanks!

D2 just got the Mac Pro - 13" screen.

phi harmonic, D just finished her freshman year, has a 17" Macbook Pro. She never took it to class, but did take it outside to the quad for studying or to the library. It is rather large, but she loves it to watch movies on!

Its a really small difference, doesnt even matter that much with 2"

Just go with the 15", they’re usually cheaper and are typically the perfect size

13" is def. not too small, and way lighter (those 2 inches makes a big difference). And go w/ aluminum instead of that white plastic–way more durable. I’ve had mine for a month and its great. Unless you really want a larger screen to watch movies on or w/e, go w/ the 13". I watch movies all the time on it and it’s not too small.

Hey…thanks for everyone’s input. I am strongly leaning to the 13" screens.

If you have any more basic questions about the 13" or the macbook in general if you’ve never used one before, just PM me.
