So I got into all four of these schools and am trying to decide which one to attend.

MH Hunter obviously has the edge in financial aid b/c it's free. I get free dorm for two years, live in nyc, free laptop and grants for study abroad/research. Also nyc has tons of job opportunities and internships.

Only problem I see is that even though I'll be in MHC I'll still be going to Hunter so I'm wondering if the quality of teaching and research/facilities/equipments can compare to the others, because I really want to do research in college.

I'm doing psychology so which school is the best in terms of psychology? Which college has the best research facilities and opportunities for undergrads? I'm thinking psychology major but really overall science major.

I have to pay 3500 a year for UB, 8000 for Stony, nothing for Hunter. I have yet to receive my Bing aid but I think the amount will be around 5000 a year. Would it be worth the money to go to one of those SUNY?

Also, comparing the three sunys which one is better?

hey, I got into the same schools and I’m doing the same major. My counselor told me for psy. stony brook and binghamton aare the best and macaulary isnt that good for psyc. I decided to go to stony brook because they have more opportunities becuase they are also connected with the science department. Hope to see you in Stonyy

Can’t speak to psy dept but my dtr goes to UB for chem eng and likes it very much. She is in the honors program, dorms and people (students and faculty) are nice. My sister went to SB and is not a fan but she loved the UB campus when we dropped my dtr off last summer. You need to reach out to the schools dept to get a feel for your major. Check out the dept’s web pages and faculty profiles and see what kind of research they are doing. Sounds like you have good options. Besides academics the campus vary greatly in their “feel” so visit if possible. My dtr’s visit on accepted student day sealed the deal for her.PS I am a Hunter Alumni, it is a great school but not a traditional college experience although having NYC as my campus was a great experience.
