I've never imagined myself going to a CUNY, but now I think I have to since my parents want me to go to Hunter for Macaulay or go to Baruch as a Dean's Scholar. I don't think either school has a campus vibe. But, which school would you recommend and why?

Doesn’t Macaulay include a full ride with free housing? Compare the numbers here:

That might make a difference. If there isn’t a clear winner, go visit both of them and see what you think.

Yea, they’re both giving me full rides.

I think the advice usually is to go to Baruch if you want to major in anything business-related, and Hunter for everything else…

Yeah, both don’t really have a campus-y feel to them because they are both in the city, but I would take advantage of these great opportunity! (Unless there is another college you’d rather go to). These two colleges are very good and well-known within NY.

I agree with bunniesrcool; Hunter and Baruch are both very different schools. If your major is more science-y or liberal art oriented, you should go to Hunter. If it is business/accounting/finance, Baruch.
