@fs8874602 Congratulations on your accomplishments!

Your GPA is great and your SAT is good. Both numbers are “in the range” and fine.

Your ECs look fine, although MHC likes to see leadership, which I don’t really see in your post above. Are you going to have any leadership/management/supervisory role in any initiative/business/school-based EC next year?

Keep in mind that Hunter is the hardest MHC to get into.

Thanks for your input! As for leadership, I technically held a leadership position during my volunteering with disabled children, as I acted as their supervisor/mentor. Additionally, I’m currently responsible for patients and their appointments at my job, so perhaps I should reword my resume to reflect that. I also plan to start a club with another student this year, so my status as president isn’t on my resume yet sadly. I’ll definitely rework my resume to be more leadership oriented, though.

@fs8874602 Great!

Out of curiosity – does your HS audit student resumes?

Yes, I believe so.

I would raise your CR+M score, but other than that you look like a competitive applicant based off what I have seen.

I have a question: Do you have to be instate to get into the Macaulay Honors program?

@SternBusiness No you do not, although you only get the full-tuition scholarship if you are in-state.

MHC is like $16K a year for OOS, and you still get the other perks (i.e. Mac, opportunities fund).
