Made a big mistake on Common App recommendation. Help!!

So i made a mistake that i shouldn't make for my NYU application on common app. i really want to hit my head stratight to the wall now.
i just selected one teacher for recommendation. well i had two before actually then i accidently remove the 2nd one (the most important recommendation from my principle).
so when i submitted my application i thought i can go back to the school form section n add the teacher later.but i couldn't do that.
Now I jsut have one recommendation letter from my math teacher.

Do you think one recommendation will hurt my chance?

Can I ask my principle to mail only the recommendationt o NYU?

because I found i have to fill out the applicant's section on the paper recommendation form.

what a failure @_o

Unless you re-invite your principal and contact him/her right now to write one up, then the best thing for you to do is contact the admissions office right after New Years (of whenever they’re open) and also notify your principal ASAP.

Most schools have some leeway (~2 weeks) for late forms as long as your application is sent in on time. You can ask your principle to mail it, fax it, or sign up again online. The later 2 choices will probably be fastest.
