So I wasn't aware that the CommonApp provided a tab for teacher recommendations and evaluations and figured since my college required recommendations, all I had to do was ask them to mail their letter to the college. I feel so dumb now and don't know what to do. Should I just print out the evaluation sheet for them as well and have that mailed to the college so all the materials are sent or should I email the college admissions office, let them know about my mistake, and have the teachers go through the process all over again through the CommonApp? Thank you for any help!

Your guidance counselor can take care of this. Is your school on Naviance?

No, my school isn’t on Naviance. I hadn’t even noticed that the tab also wanted a school report and recommendation from the counselor as well. I had initially planned on applying Early Decision and thought I had all my materials ready until I noticed my huge mistake.

Mailing recs is completely fine. When you fill out the rec section of the common app, select offline.

You’re fine. Most schools accept mailed recommendations
