On the activities section of the common app, I accidentally put myself down as having down Science Olympiad for only 10th and 11th grade, but in actuality I'm ALSO planning on doing it 12th grade. This is a pretty HUGE EC for me, so I"m really freaking out. I already submitted the app. My resume, on the other hand, reflects the number of years accurately. Should I email penn just to clarify the mistake, or would that just annoy them.

Really begging for help on this one guys. Don't let me down...

Call them. Things like this happen all the time; it’s perfectly fine to do and that’s part of the Undergraduate Admissions Office’s obligation: to provide the most complete evaluate of each candidate.

Ugh…I really hope so. I went over my common app like ten times. I have no idea how I overlooked something so egregious. I just hope everything turns out all right…

Don’t stress over it. Everything will be fine. Things like this happen to everyone.

Thanks guys. I sent my adcom an email just a little while ago. Here’s hoping this doesn’t mean an auto rejection… :(
