I am not intelligent

After having sent in my application a couple of days ago, I realized I left out a major activity I had done my sophomore year that I had completely forgotten about until now. I believe it would definitely enhance my application. I have already emailed admissions but I was wondering if any of you guys knew if there was any way I could send them this information whether it is through the commonapp or not. Yes, I realize this was very dumb on my part. Any info would be appreciated.

If you don’t get a response by say thursday next week, call up admissions to make sure they include that information in your application.

Dont worry, I am not intelligent either. I forgot to put all of my AP scores, AND at the last minute I impulsively added the ED agreement when they had explicitly stated they didnt want it. I called and they told me to fax the scores in, so I did (a piece of paper, handwritten neatly, with my personal information and then the scores exactly as they would have been listed on the Common Application page).

haha, thank you for the response, that is very comforting

Haha, don’t worry about it! I’ve come to think of it this way:

 1. If you make a mistake, you can make up for it by being responsible enough to A) realize it in the first place, and then B) fix it politely and promptly.
 2. If people didn’t mess up all the time, they wouldn’t give you the option to A) call them to give anything you’ve missed, and B) make another version of your Common App so that you don’t make the same mistake with any other colleges you’ll apply to later. :)
