First of all I'm an out of state student applying to SDSU w/ a GPA of 3.82 [using their formula, that's only counting A-G courses, which is what I'm supposed to do right, for example a Religion course doesn't count, or a gym, or a Graphics Design course]. Anyways I have a 3.82 GPA with an ACT of 29, and I really liked my chances before I learned that I had made some mistakes on my app.

First problem:
I somehow missed the College Prep Elective section. Not sure, how I missed this but because on the CSUMentor site it said there were 0 semesters required I omitted the section on accident. On the SDSU website it says you need a year of at least 1 College Prep Elective.

Second problem:
SDSU's website says it requires a year long art class. I've taken 2 semesters of art, and will have 4 done by the time of my graduation, but none of them are full year long courses. All are 1 semester because that's the only type of art classes my school offers.

Third problem:
I was confused with the CSUMentors A-G course list and accidentally submitted Graphics Design as a Visual Art despite this not being quantifiable. This in turn messed up my GPA slightly [I submitted a 3.89 but I actually have a 3.82 because of this reason and I put down 3 honors accidentally instead of 2 [3rd one I'm taking now so doesn't count toward GPA yet I think].

What can I do?

I am sending an email tomorrow explaining that I messed up on the college prep section and that I really do have many courses that could fit that qualification [Spanish 3, AP Psy, Col Prep Alg - these all work right? Basically I took 3 yrs of Spanish instead of the required 2, so the 3rd yr would count as a college prep elective? The email also explains that my school doesnt offer yearlong art courses, but if my current courses arent acceptable [3D Art, 2D art, Clay I, Stain Glass], I'm willing to take a summer course.

The third part, referring to the GPA I ignored in my email, but in my email I state that I have a 3.82, but don't state the discrepancy, I'm hoping that they just realize I kinda ****ed up my app but I am doing everything it takes to try and fix it.

God, basically my I ****ed up my app and didn't realize it until 3 days after I submitted it, what can I do besides send an email explaining my mistakes, and letting them know that I really, really, want to go to SDSU?

I wish I could redo my app but that still wouldn't fix the fact that my school doesn't offer full year art courses, and also I don't know if redoing your app is possible.
