<p>I am getting a rec letter from my English teacher, who prefers to mail it rather than submitting it online. I sent him the Evaluation B form, the envelope, and necessary information weeks ago, but so far on the MyMIT portal, it doesn't seem to be processed. I'm worried that my application will be incomplete by the EA deadline. How long does it take for mailed rec letters to be processed?</p>
<p>They keep sorting and assembling applications past the deadline. I believe they are at least a little more lenient toward rec letters. Just make sure you have done your part.</p>
<p>They’ll notify you sometime after the deadline if something is missing. You’ll have time to get your teachers to resubmit. Keep in mind that they have thousands of applicants - and thus, thousands of letters. So things will be going a little slowly :)</p>
