Maintaining gpa for admission to UCs?

This sounds pretty sad, but it just hit me that I might actually have to keep my grades high this semester. Senioritis did hit me and I slipped a bit first semster this senior year.

Just got accepted to SDSU and the admission letter says that I have to keep my overall gpa in order to be admitted. Is this the same circumstance for UCs? How strictly is this condition enforced? Does this mean I’ll really have to bust my butt this semesterto make up for my slip last semester in order to “maintain my overall gpa”?

Just don't get D's

Last year SDSU did revoke the admissions of a few students whose GPA slipped below 3.0. They do check those final grade transcripts. The UC's will not be happy if your GPA in a-g courses slips below 2.9. Get a D in a required UC course and you will have some explaining to do.
