Major Business and Generous FA

I am looking for colleges/ universities having :
-Major Business (with good rankings/ reputation etc)
-Generous to International Students (No matter it is need-based financial aid or merit-based scholarships. It's better if family contribution is less than 10.000USD/year).
-Coed or Women is okay.

Do you know any? Help me please. Thank you.

The generous to internationals is the hard part. None of the need blind schools for internationals have top business programs.

Penn gives generous need based aid to a few, NYU gives merit to very, very top students, USC to strong students.

Getting it down to $10K will be tough.

@hmom5: Thank you.

Does anyone know other schools? Top Economics program is also okay, although I like Business more. But these schools have to be generous to international students. They don’t need to be need-blind, but they usually gave good financial aid packages to international ones.

I really need your help, everyone. Please suggest me some schools.

Do you have very good stats? What country are you from?

Here my stats.

Female.
Class rank: Top 10%.
Honor Student. A famous High School For The Gifted in Vietnam (Southeast Asia).
Course load: Heavy. Three major subjects: Advanced Maths, Advanced Chemistry, Advanced Physics. Others: Advanced English, Literature, Geography, History, Civic Education, Physical Education, Technology, Biology, Informatics.
GPA: Excellent range in all 12 subjects.

SAT I: 1960 (590 CR 730 M 640 W). I will retake it in October to get >2200.
SAT II: Maths II 800 - Maths I 750 - Chem 760. I will take U.S His, World His and Physics in December (I’m sure I can get >700 each).
TOEFL: not taken yet, maybe >100 I guess. In fact I don’t want to take it 'cause it costs much, so I prefer schools do not REQUIRE TOEFL or those waive it if SAT CR>600 or >650 or so. But if necessary, I will take it.

Prizes: one National Olympiad Prize and several Regional Olympiad Prizes (in Maths). Some in First Aid, Eloquence, Writing contests etc
Very good EC (one leader and one vice-leader and many others include sport, community services and academic clubs - with prizes earned; one part-time job in an education center - I can ask my boss for a recommendation).
Good recommendations from teachers and counselor (I believe).

Criteria in Choosing Schools:
-Good department in my major (Economics/Business)
-Generous Financial Aid to International Students. I’m sad to say that my family can only contribute a maximum 10.000USD/year. I know this will hurt my chance but I cannot help it.

I’m considering UPenn, Williams, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Bryn Mawr, Drexel. Can you tell me if these schools fit my criteria and what my chance is?

Suggest me some more schools, please. Thank you.

I think the girls schools could be a good bet for you. Wellesley has an excellent econ dept. It’s a reach with current scores but you’d be a strong candidate with a 2200. Smith and Holyoke are also good choices. NYU and CMU are good business schools that you’d also be a good candidate for with a 2200 but their aid may be difficult to get.

Don’t know how generous Indiana is with internationals but it would be worth a look. Vanderbilt and Emory may be worth an application as I don’t think they get as many applicants from Asia as do the East and West Coast schools.

Thank you, hmom5.

CMU is Carnegie Mellon U, right?

Everyone
If I only consider Financial Aid factor (ignore the Business/Economics criterion), which schools fit me?
I need some safe and some target choices. Thanks.
