Warning: Long Post Ahead

My best subjects have always been English, socials oriented courses (psychology, government and politics, etc.), and math. Because I wanted to play to my strengths while making good money, I chose to pursue economics/finance as my major. However, lately I've been having serious doubts on the wisdom of my choice.

I know economics becomes heavily math oriented in higher level study, and my recent experience with BC Calculus this year casts serious doubts on my ability to succeed in higher level math. I'm also not really interested in management, which economics, and more particularly finance, seems tied to.

I've never cared much for science courses, but a lot of my friends are taking AP Chemistry/Physics/Biology this year, and from what I've heard the courses seem a lot more interesting than Physics 11 Advanced. My strongest courses have always been in the humanities, but I think that's more because I didn't give a crap about the sciences than a difference in innate talent. Might I have made a huge mistake discounting a profession in the sciences so early on? Is it worth taking the time to try a few AP sciences to see how I fare?
