Major from one, minor from another?

If I'm majoring from Weinberg, can I take a minor from Medill? If I want to do a dual major, can I major from 2 different schools?

I don’t think Medill has any minors, but there is a certificate in integrated marketing. But yes, you can get a major, certificate, etc. in another school.

“Weinberg College students can enroll in many classes offered by other schools at Northwestern. You can take individual classes that interest you, and you can also choose to complete a minor, certificate, or concentration in another school. At most two units of non-Weinberg credit may be taken concurrently.”

As for double major, you can get a major in two different schools, but the situation will be different for different schools, and it would depend if you want a double major or dual degree which are different. These are really questions that you can talk to an adviser about if (or when, if you’re already in) you get here.
