<p>You need to specify it’s major gpa and people are going to wonder if your overall is less than 3.0

<p>When calculating a major GPA, does that mean only GPAs in the major of your department, or any classes you are taking to fulfill major requirements. For instance, IOE majors have to take 3 non-IOE engineering classes that fit within certain categories. So say one of these classes is EECS 280. Do I have to include the grade I got in EECS 280 when calculating my IOE GPA?</p>
