Major help:Physics major want to transfer to engineering?

Hi everyone,

I am an International student from China for my masters degree of physics in US. But I have more interest in application and I want to change my major to engineering. I am considering nuclear engineering because I have some background on high energy physics and did some computer simulation on a gaseous detector of neutron with a professor from undergraduate, and my masters thesis may have something to do with the detection of neutron too. But I am worried that if there will be some difficulty for an International student to apply for nuclear engineering in US. Is there anyone know something about this?

And I want to know is there any other options for a physics major to transfer to engineering? I've heard a lot of people changed their major to CS/CE/MSE/ME, etc. I am always wondering how they apply for graduate school without any background in that specific field.

I know a lot of people who did their undergraduate degree in physics and their graduate degree in engineering; you should have no problem.
