I'm currently a MechE major. I'm thinking about continuing on to a Engineering Physics/Applied Physics Masters afterward at some point after working for a few years. My thoughts are that this would give extra support to my MechE degree while also opening other doors (not to mention I love physics). For example, researching new technologies, finding ways to manufacture them, kind of bridging the gap between science and engineering, not to mention the personal intellectual satisfaction I would get. Does anyone have any input on this, would this be a good decision?

Keep in mind this is IF I do grad school, I've been flirting with the idea for a while and am trying to figure out if I should take some extra physics electives to prepare. Thanks!
