I need help picking my major because I feel like I am running out of time! I am a freshman in college at a community college because I did not want to waste money at a 4 year school when I dont know what I want to do. I hate the school I am at and need to transfer for next fall. I was considering psychology because its interesting, but I am not sure what career would follow because I would rather not go for my masters. I also love criminal justice but would not want to be a police officer or anything like that. I also am very interested in travel and other countries too. Any help would be great, thanks!

According to the WSJ 4 of the top 10 majors with the highest unemployment are psych majors. IMO it is one of the worst majors to get into, if you speak say spanish perhaps international buisness?

Many South American countries are on the rise and markets will become availible.

If you are interested in travel and other countries you could look into international relations, and maybe do cj or psych as a minor. Either of those could be useful with ir

If you enjoy psych, don’t let the reputation of it being a “useless” major scare you - the need for licensed psychologists is projected to only increase in the next decade - but if you don’t want to go to grad school then you should probably look into something else.

If you still aren’t sure what you want to do but I think there are little quizzes out on the internet or you can talk to people at the college who can help you.
