Major in Accounting with Minors?

So i am a freshman at Duquesne University which was recently ranked the 78th top college. the business school is one of the top in the country so i am already off to a great start. Recently my sister was in an internship interview and the man was very interested in her accounting major and finance and history minor. so she told me that i should do something similar.

I am majoring in accounting. i really liked it in high school and it is a good job. i also am minoring in finance in case i decide to go after something like investment banking.

i am also thinking about political science. i took AP government last year and i got a 5 on the AP test so it is something that i am good at. I really enjoy politics. i am against our current government and i feel like having a good understanding of it is important in the future.

what makes political science a good minor for a degree in business? how can it help me and will it be worth it in the long run?

thanks!

I don’t think it’s worth your time unless you have enough free electives where it doesn’t inconvenience you.
