Major prereq is CS61A? What? No..help pls

<p>One of the prerequisites for my intended major is CS61A and I'm hoping to get it out of the way as early as possible.
Unfortunately, I have no past experience with programming. On the website, it says that the prereqs for CS61A are Math1A and programming experience equivalent to a 3 on the Computer Science AP A exam, which I did not do.</p>

<p>What exactly should I do now?</p>

<p>Just take a few weeks during summer to watch some of the lectures and read the notes. 61A really doesn’t require any previous programming experience.</p>
