I like Biology and International relations very much! Am i crazy if I double major in both Bio and IR? Is this common in Tufts? Plzzzz help me! I don't really know how to decide. (i am even thinking of taking a couple of minors too, like biomedical engineering) I think there are too many choices for me. i want to learn this and I am interested in that...what should i do?
I will start my freshman yr in Tufts this fall. Nice to see you guys!!! =D

Well, they are a bit on the oppositte side of things, but if you know for sure that you want todo Bio and IR, you can start off in your freshmen year itself.

Your biomedical engineering minor will be somewhat easier to get if you major in Bio.

You should be fine though as long as you have some sort of idea by the end of freshmen year.

I'm fairly certain that you will have no problem double majoring in those areas. Many people at Tufts double major in IR and something else.

Realistically it's very difficult to do BOTH biology and IR as majors. Both majors are very demanding in terms of course work, so you probably would have to pick one or another. Who knows? You could be one of those crazy smart people that manage to triple major in something :)

Thank you all for your help!!!!!!!!!! I am really grateful.
I just checked the Tufts website, and i found sth like if you take double major, you are not allowed to do any minor. Really??? Then I must forgo biomedical engineering if I double major?

FerHevvinSakes! Calm down!! You can figure out the major/minor stuff after you get there!!
