Okay not that major. Just wondering, how many questions can I get wrong from each section (Writing, Critical Reading, Math) to get at least 750 per section? Or 800?

I really want to know the answer to this guys.

Anyone willing to help me out?

It depends on the curve of the exam, but take a look here for Math and CR info

Anyone else? Raw scores don’t exactly show the number u can get wrong.

The raw score is just the number wrong minus the total number of questions. So for math you can get two wrong and CR 4-5 wrong (which translates to -5 or -6).

Thanks guys.

awww mann…looking at that link, i feel like i got screwed with the march critical reading
according to that, if i missed three, raw score =67-3-.75=63 rounded, my score would have been about 30-40 points higher(i got a 750 on cr with 3 wrong)!!! what is up with this???
does anyone else feel like they should’ve gotten a higher score on critical reading??

and and btw if u wanna get 750 minimun on every section, miss less than 3 for each, except for math, you’d have to miss 2 or less

OKay, to be honest, I think this is how it generally works:
Math: To get an 800 you really need them all right. (On March SAT I got 1 wrong, none blank, 790).
CR: All depends on the curve. I think the most lenient would be -3 = 800. Generally, if you want an 800, don’t get any more than 2 wrong.
Writing: If you get a 12 on the essay, you have a lot of room for leeway. I think 12 essay + 3 wrong MC would be 800. If you get a 10 on the essay, you’ll need all the mult choice right (or maybe one wrong) to get an 800. if you get less than a 10 on the essay, you need a perfect mult choice to get an 800.

That’s very insightful dreamsofivy.
