I’ve been accepted into the college of engineering and applied science as a undergraduate freshmen, and will be attending sbu fall 2019. However, I would like to have a major change into Mechanical or Civil Engineering. I’ve read the requirements on the undergraduate bulletin board, which both majors required a 3.2 gpa in major courses to have a chance to be considered. Currently, I have a weighted gpa of 4.0 at my high school. But i’m wondering, is a gpa of 3.2 difficult to obtain as an Engineering student in college? What will be my chance of getting accepted into these majors.
