Major vs Double Major vs Primary Concentration vs Secondary Concentration vs Minor

Major vs Double Major vs Primary Concentration vs Secondary Concentration vs Minor
Hi Everyone! So I was recently accepted into the Gabelli School of Business in LC and now I'm having some second thoughts looking more into the majors and what not. I want to make myself as valuable as possible with as many expertness as possible. So I have a few questions regarding this...it's all so very confusing. Thank you very much! I appreciate it!

1) Can someone describe the major differences between Majors/ Double Majors/ Primary Concentrations/ Secondary Concentrations/ and Minors? What do students typically take?

2) What is the major difference between majoring in Marketing at RH and majoring in Global Business w/ a Concentration in Marketing? Which one is better for students to have in the business field?

3) What is the best avenue to take to make oneself the most profitable? I want to get the bang for my buck especially for college and my degrees.

4) Rose hill offers specific majors. LC offers Global business with concentrations. Both offer minors. Which is better?

Thank you so much!! :)

Its common for people at Fordham to have majors with concentrations and a minor in another field. Sometimes its even Business with Theology. Seen it. I wouldnt worry to much at this juncture about that. Your first semester is all core classes anyway. Wait until you get to Fordham, speak with students, professors and advisors…you have at least a year to declare a major anyway. People change all the time. And sometimes one of those core classes turns on a light bulb in your head and you explore that department for a minor or concentration or major or whatever.

Its all good.
