So I was accepted as undeclared in Letters and Science, and I always thought that my goal was to be a physician. However, I really like the idea of working with computers and coding, but I have very little experience in it. I'm taking a Java class right now and I really do dislike it, but mainly bc the teacher's new and has very little experience in teaching java. I have no idea what I'm doing in that class, but I don't hate coding too much. Would it be worth it to take a few starting computer science classes at Berkeley? IDK if it's worth it, I mean, apparently it can be a GPA killer.

Well you can take CS 10, which isn’t supposed to be very difficult, it’s for people with little to no experience in CS, I believe. See here: <a href=“CS10 : BJC | Spring 2014 | UC Berkeley EECS”>http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~cs10/sp14/

CS 61A is really well taught in the fall. Highly recommended. You will have to put in work, though.
