I want to major in physics/astrophysics but everybody says physics and math in college is extremely difficult. I consider myself good at math but I don't want to be set up for failure. It'd be hard to recover and change direction in my school cause it requires graduation in 8 semesters (though Im guessing they grant extensions). I'm also worried about the job market. I know I could go to law school with anything but my GPA would most likely be low with a physics major thus precluding myself from a good law school. Missile defense would be cool though...lol.

I would stay away if you're trying to get into law school where you're competeing with philosophy majors.

They factor in the major, but I doubt they factor that much

Well its either...major in physics and go into a career with that or major in business or something and go into law.

why are you doing physics if you want to go to law school? you should major in something you're good at. but i think english or philosophy would be a good major to prep you for law school.

I don't KNOW if I want to go to Law school. I'll probably major in business if I choose to.

it seems as if you're not sure. in that case, you should probably explore what you really want to do. physics is a hard major. if you don't really enjoy it, you won't have too much fun in it.
