Majoring in psychology=extra work?

<p>i read in an article that med schools actually like it when you major in the social sciences or the humanities. they think both help students become successful docs. i also read in a book that its good to major in something that has to do with human interactions, etc…</p>

<p>It is always prudent to have a fall back position. Does the following link provide a reliable source for determining the back-up majors/fall back position? In some cases, a graduate degree is definitely desirable if the medical career does not pan out. Please share other sources you may have. Thanks</p>
