I’m a current freshman at USC who’s currently double majoring in Business Admin and Communication. Is Communication a valuable degree for recruiting and worth the effort? I plan to go into financial, operations or IT consulting out of college and eventually try for management/strategy after MBA.
Talk to someone in the career services group at USC and ask them for a sense of what consulting companies interview at the school, what attributes/majors they look for in candidates etc. My gut feeli is that your majors not will lead you to the jobs you want.
