Majors relating to chemistry?

I'm currently at the end of my junior year and have decided that I would really like to major in something related to chemistry while in college. I am looking to get my BS and masters in one run and then will either get my PhD right after or soon after with a small break. I quite dislike physics but I do adore chemistry and biology. What kinds of majors do you guys recommend?

Chemistry? Biochemistry?
Is there a particular reason why you want to get both a master’s and bachelor’s degree? You can go straight into a PhD program with a BS. You can’t avoid physics if you want to major in something chemistry related - you’ll have to learn classical mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and waves and optics in your lower division physics classes and quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, and thermodynamics in physical chemistry classes - that’s a lot of physics. Also keep in mind that chemistry in college is not quite the same as chemistry in high school - oftentimes, what you will learn is not what you’ve learned in high school in greater depth but completely new concepts and ways of thinking about things.

The only way I’d recommend getting a science degree is if you plant on going to health-care professional school. such as med, pharm, dental, OT, PT, Opt, PA etc. Otherwise science degrees are generally atrocious for employment.
