What do you do if you want to study Finance? It looks like the Robins School of Business doesn't offer a Finance major and I do not want to do some type of Co-op with VCU.

You get a BS in Business Admin with a concentration in finance. No Co-op. there are two primary tracks, depending on if you want to go towards investments or IB/PE.

Finance is one of UR’s strongest areas. The department chair, John Earl, is fantastic.

[Concentration - Finance - Academic Departments - Undergraduate - Robins School of Business - University of Richmond](http://robins.richmond.edu/undergraduate/academics/finance/concentration.html)

Thanks! Sorry i was kind of confused… So do you only major in either Business Administration, Economics or Accounting and then you can choose a concentration? Like Finance?

That is correct. You major in Business Admin or Econ or Accounting and concentrate in the other areas. U of R has an amazing B School and is constantly ranked extremely highly. The class rooms are also built for 30 students max so you will never have a larger class than about 25. All of the professors are amazing as well! Almost all have real world experience at large firms. For example, most (if not all) of the accounting professors were senior partners in the top four accounting firms for many years. You really cannot go wrong with a business education at U of R, especially in Finance! Amazing alumni network and connections as well as a great program where you can actually trade money and stocks in the model stock floor.
