<p>I'm an MHC alumna. I highly recommend that each of you entering first years elect an art history course at some point during your first two years if you have never had any exposure to the discipline. I was a political junkie in college and ended up getting hooked on art and it has been SO MUCH FUN during my life that I am now on the advisory board of the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum which gets me to MHC at least once a year. The idea is to try something you know nothing about in the arts or sciences or social sciences while you are completing your distribution requirements. Have fun! BTW, you will LOVE your college -- it is a life long love affair.</p>
