I was accepted ED CAS and I'm not really sure what major I want to do. Right now it's between government, economics, and history. Anyone know a lot about these departments?

Thanks

I believe that the government department is ranked the highest of those three, but they're all roughly equal in prestige. Economics is the most popular, and probably the most practical when it comes to jobs.

major in cooking with a concentration in onions, I hear it's a good program

i mean history is obviously the coolest...haha but just do what you like the best. do NOT consider what you want your job to be. AT ALL. if you are passionate about political philosophy, be a government major. economics. whatever. but don't be an econ major because "it will get you a good job." that's laughable. my friend is graduating this year from CAS with a degree in history and she already has a job with Goldman Sachs. you could be an econ major and go to med school (with the pre-med requirements of course). so just do what you are passionate about, you will succeed, get the best grades, and go on to whatever you want to do with your life.

but history is still the coolest....
