plav- I think you have a good shot. Your SAT score is higher than USC's average :)

yea how good your hs does matter. My hs is really good, top 3 in the state and we send many to IVY's ( i hope that helps). anyways i saw on princeton review that you could have a 2.7GPA but a 2100SAT's and have a good shot. but i dont believe that for a second :(....USC is my dream school,i have wanted to go there since middle school. it really sucks wanting something so bad but you know you are not going to get it.

^ Hang in there! Because the admissions process at USC is more subjective (they take more time to read your essays and put greater weight on extracuriculars), you definitely might have more of a shot than you think, especially if your high school is so rigorous. USC is definitely my dream school too since the 5th grade, so hopefully I'll be seeing you this fall...:)

yes thats what i love about 'SC is they look at everything not just your scores. unfortunately thought i don't have any alumni relationships which i've heard do help. anyways, i hope i see you in the fall as well :]

2.7 & 2340 over here. I'd trade stats in a heartbeat with most of you.

Seriously, no matter what happens, good luck to all of you, because you seem genuinely interested in going to USC for the school it is, not just for its name or reputation. Good to see more of those kinds of applicants.

I'll throw in my lame stats: 1760 SAT but 4.58 weighted GPA. I'm the salutatorian at least?

I have a 4.68W and a 4.0UW with an 1850 SAT score. Subject Tests: 760 Spanish, 680 Lit, and 610 US History. I'm 10 out of 459. =/ Nothing impressive either beyong my GPA. DX

I'm really hoping they look past my gpa :( I have a 3.43 UW/3.86 W and a 2160. Good luck to all of you in the same situation.

I'm hoping they do the opposite. XD Look at my GPA and ignore that pesky SAT score. >_>

A guy I know is going to SC with a 2.5 and like a 1400 SAT, but then again he is a football player. Just don't worry, ur more than a number. I read on the Official Stats threat that people with over 2300s didn't get considered for any merit based scholarships, and I did with a 2050 SAT. Good Luck.

I don't even know my GPA because my school doesn't calculate it (they have this weird chart thing) so I feel kind of in the dark. o.O;

2030 SAT, which is OK I guess. I'm kind of counting on my smashing personality, out of state-ness, and my interesting ECs to get me in, LOL. crosses fingers

Good luck to you all. <3
