Make sure if you took THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND COMPOSITION EXAM THAT YOU.............

Make sure if you took THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND COMPOSITION EXAM THAT YOU filled in essay choices 1 2 and 3 on the multiple choice sheet/scantron! If you did not, it will result in an automatic 0. Read collegeboards rules.

are you serious!? What about all the other tests? I only filled in the scantron for the APUSH test.

I know i thought you only had to do it for APUSH! Our proctors called up collegeboard during the test and notified us that we must fill in 1, 2, 3 or it will result in a 0! SO PLEASE IF YOU GUYS STILL HAVE TIME, FILL IT IN!

No, I highly doubt this is true because I didn't have to do this for my Language or Literature exam. My proctor said those choices are only applicable to certain tests.

I doubt that you'd have to fill in a bubble for "Essay Choices" For an essay that was mandatory.

But I'm emailing Collegeboard just in case. :O

NO FOR THESE TESTS! IF YOU WANT TO ARGUE THEN ARGUE! BUT IF YOU ARE SMART, YOU WILL GO to your AP Coordinator first thing in the morning and ask to fill them in

only if it's applicable to the certain test (ie if you have different options you can do)

^^^ Exactly! We had to answer all 3 for the English tests, so it doesn't make sense to have to bubble those in. :)

no although they were mandatory the computer puts your free response scores in and must sort by number! Filling in 1, 2, 3 was mandatory! See your AP coordinator, they should still have your TEST!

Can anyone who's taken this AP exam last year and scored a 5 WITHOUT filling those bubbles in, confirm???

And do you have to do that for AP eng lang only? or is that for other tests as well???

***?????? Our proctor didn't tell us to do that!!!!!!!

We are meant to put the number of the essay in the upper corner of each page, and that is the way graders can differentiate between each of the three manditory essays. Plus, I think if this were really the case, our proctors would have known about this and really emphasized it, because it's kind of a big deal (60% of the test)!

For The English Language And Composition Exam! Please Trust Me! I'm Trying To Help You All! Contact Your Ap Coordinator In Your School Tomorrow! First Thing! Chances Are They Havent Mailed Our Your Exams Yet!

ur lying.....

although this makes no sense to me....if it is true, wouldlnt that meant we have to bubble in essays for all of the tests that we had to write mandatory essays for? like biology?

Like I said go see your AP COORDINATOR TOMORROW! I'm out end of discussion! I Was just trying to help! Feel free not to listen to me

starburst makes a really good point
since all three essays were mandatory, what point would there be to filling out the bubbles since the graders know that theres only 3 and we had to do them all
for history, its different because they u had to make a choice in parts b and c, thats y u had to fill in the bubbles in the pink booklet and m/c paper

im not doubting you, im just trying to clarify.i dont want to go up to my AP coordinator for no reason, i want to make sure theres an issue.

once again i am signing off. YOU GUYS ARE MISSING THE POINT! OF COURSE I KNOW THE READERS KNOW THAT THE 3 are mandatory! BUT THE MULTIPLE CHOICE SCANTRON DOES NOT! WOW SOMETIMES I THINK PEOPLE HAVE NO COmmon Sense

Umm...the person who proctored our test read everything directly out of the CollegeBoard booklet and it had nothing about filling in those essay chois....
