Making a college list... HELP PLEASE :)

So as junior year is wrapping up, I figured that it was about time to start making a college list of schools to consider and visit over the summer. So just start rattling off schools that you think I should/could go to based off of scores and such.

Location: PA
Desired Major: Some sort of engineering
SAT: 1920 (first attempt, still taking it again) [660math/640CR/620w]
GPA: Weighted - 4.4 (on a 5.0 scale) Unweighted 3.8
APs: Soph: Euro; Junior: American History, English Language; Senior (Courses I am signed up to take): Econ, Java, Calc AB, Physics, English Literature, French;

ECs: 4 yrs Cross Country and Indoor/Outdoor Track, Doubled up on sports Winter season of sophmore year with Indoor Track and Diving and Varsity lettered in both. NHS Community Service Chair, Hundreds of Service Hours, Sophmore year a friend and I co-organized a community wide shoe drive collecting 1000+ pairs of shoes. Member of Campus Life

Desired Location: Anywhere on the East Coast really, more preferably down south, but I'm not too picky.
Desired Size: Also, not really sure yet.

Legacy: UPitt, UPenn

Once again, any input would be greatly appreciated. I am visiting Va Tech this weekend for the college of engineering open house, so we'll see how that goes.

Haha sorry, will be 4 years of cross-country and track by the time I graduate. Unless you count middle school… then it will be 6.

Georgia Tech, MIT, University of Virginia, Carnegie Mellon University

Bucknell and the ones mentioned above. The other choices will be further north. Schools like Rose Hulman, Case Western, RPI, Purdue.

Thanks for the replys! I will look into these schools, however, I feel like some of them are pretty large reaches.

Most of them are reaches for you. You have the best shot at Purdue.

I think Virginia would be a large reach. Have you considered looking at the UNC school system?

I have looked into NC State but not UNC. I thought UNC didn’t have an engineering program??
