<p>When should the class of 2013 begin making common app accounts? I want to familiarize myself with it before the process beings.</p>
<p>feel free to make an account whenever you want to for familiarizing yourself with the site. as i remember, the common app opens for each class in august, and when that happens the old accounts are shut down. so you can create an account now to look around, but not the one you’ll be using next year to actually apply to colleges.</p>
