Making a resumé for scholarships.

So, my school uses Naviance, and we have this huge senior award event coming up. We had to select all the awards we qualified for, however, attached, we need to create a generic resumé for all of the scholarships.

I am sort of befuddled as to what to write for objective and what not; I want to stand-out from my peers, so I am refraining from googling the generic objective template.

Anyone who has experience and is willing to help me would be appreciated

For jobs, NEVER more than one page.

For scholarships, list all your accomplishments in high school regardless of what length that results in (unless the scholarship says otherwise: a few limit you on page count, so read carefully).

Objectives are pretty useless in my opinion (unless you’re applying for a highly specific opportunity). I never include one for internship applications nor on my high school senior scholarship run, and I’ve been successful in both.

If they’re asking for a resume, they’ll care somewhat about extracurriculars. Balance detail with brevity.

@CourtneyThurston Wow! Thank you so very much for your quick response! If I have further questions, can I message you? I may need help with my wording since English is my second language! Thank you so much.

Sure.
