UF is allowing me to make my dorm preferences now. But I don’t know what is the difference between 2 room double and 2 person suite at Murphree Hall.
Can anybody tell me what this is? I thought that the two room double was the one where it was two rooms with a wall separating the two and a door in between. Then what is two person suite?
Thanks!!
Usually a suite means that there is a bathroom connecting the rooms.
Note, thought, that the preferences you indicate will only be used if the housing staff selects your room for you–for example, if you do not login on May 16 at your assigned time (which we be available on May 8).
Some of the room types only pertain to certain dorms. A double suite would be found in Hume or springs whereas a double room would be found in Broward or Jennings.
Do we fill this out if we have a date before the 30th of November?
Thank you guys!
@ANSims I thought that Murphree didn’t have suites but apparently when I put in my preferences it says that room type is available there.
@ANSims, no need to fill that out if you have a date before November 30. It will only be used for people who do not select their own rooms beginning on May 16.
A two person suite in murphree would be one room with one person in it with a path room and another connected room with one person in it. It’s basically a single with a shared bathroom.
@ANSims Oh okay. Do you know what the price of a two room double is then? Because on the website where UF lists their room rates for summer they only list single, double, suites for 2/3. I read before that the price of a two room double reflects the price for a suite for 2, but a two room double does not have a bathroom.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks! @lenny2 and I’m not sure on pricings @itstamara
