on campus housing - Summer Term

So I'm staying on campus for Summer B and when I was filling out my preferences I noticed that "single room" isn't an option. The only options are "4 person apartment, double room or triple room". If I pick four person aprt, will that equate as having my own room in halls that don't offer apartments (as far as I know its only beaty, lakeside, and keys that offer apt). Any suggestions? I have two days to change my room type preferences.

My ideal room would be a single room in Murphey.

It might be that single rooms are already taken by current students who already registered for nex years housing. Or, if you are a freshman, freshman aren’t eligible for single housing? A single room in Murphree is probably only doable if you are an upperclassman or an RA. Go for a double room choice. In Murphree, double rooms have a privacy wall and a sink in the room. If you choose four person apartment…that would be beaty, lakeside or Keys. Don’t choose 4 person aprt. if you don’t want to live in one of those 3 dorms. If you want Murphree(note spelling), choose double room…
Here is a video that is a few years old but gives you an idea what the double in Murphree looks like:[Murphree G Suite - YouTube](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

forgive my spelling I wrote it quickly, and I’m actually a Junior Transfer. I just wasn’t sure if Single Rooms were even available during summer since I know that not all halls/rooms are open during summer (according to the website). I guess maybe single rooms at Murphree are all taken then.

Thanks for the link. I see that the double suite in Murphee has a door between the roomates, making it feel like a private room. That’s awesomeee, because I really don’t like the idea of having someones bed 12 inches away from mine lol (which is why I wanted a single room).

You’ve given me great info, thanks!

Thanks for the info :)
