<p>See post #1 - that’s what was done here. So the OP has been getting the checks. But now mom is demanding that the OP turn them over to her. So the solution for the OP (for this year, anyway) is simple: Just say no!</p>
<p>True…if it’s been set up for the checks to come in the student’s name, then the student is on solid ground and the mom can’t do anything. She’ll have no power in court.</p>
