Man, It's Been One Hell of A Four Years

As much as I hate my classes and some of my teachers, I've loved high school! Maybe it's the success our school has had in sports. This last year (as a junior) baseball team won the conference; basketball got second in conference, 2nd in Regional, won a holiday tournament and won 20+ games. As a sophomore, baseball won the conference and the soccer team went to state. Golf team has gone to state two years in a row, finishing 10th and 7th with an individual winning 2nd in state for golf!

So I've been on two conference-champs teams and a tournament-champs team. This year looks to be a good year of athletics!

I am enjoying HS less and less as the years go on because all my friends (and now my boyfriend) have graduated. I have a lot of activities outside of school, not too many in school. The resources for highly motivated students here are virtually nonexistant. I mostly wish I was somewhere more interesting and challenging.

Uh...I actually liked HS. I'll miss it. So many memories. It's weird knowing that you'll never see some of your classmates of 7+ years ever again.

Trust me, 17 and 18 are a hell of a lot better. Best year of my life up to now. I'll miss it.

That's how high school is, you get in your freshman year and you kind of like it but then you want to get out of it. It's kind of like jail in a way, you're sick of it by the 1st semster of your freshman year. But don't worry, next thing you know, it will be the 2nd semster of your senior year. Hang in there, I got 2 more years here, lol.

I guess we graduated seniors are just more nostalgic and have forgotten most of the unpleasant things.

Heck, I even look back at getting suspended in a positive light--got a free four day weekend during second semester, got time to read Hamlet before our AP Lit test (and got the only 90 out of 40 guys on it). And my parents were on my side and didn't care.

Senior year was chalked full of pleasant memories, and out of the other three years, all I remember is the good stuff.

High school for me was a learning and growing process. I got involved all that I could and had a blast for the most part. There are so many fond memories, especially in extracurricular endeavors--state championships for both music and tennis, running student government, i really got a chance to see what I'm made of. It's great to think that college will be even better! Ahh I can't wait to be a Gator! :D

I don't see how if you really loved high school that means your life peaks at 17. I loved high school. I had a great time, great friends, and still had at least some academic success that will carry into college too.
