Management 100

Can a sophomore who transfer to Wharton take Management 100?

Yes...it's a core class for Wharton...you HAVE to take it.

thanks...i thought it's a freshman course

Well, there are new freshmen every year, right?

It says this all on Penn's website or in the coursebook you might've gotten at Previews.

if you originally applied to CAS and transfer to wharton, you take management 1 during sophmore year.

if you xfer in from another university i would be 99% sure that you just take it soph year, it is a big main wharton class.

Even people not in Wharton can take it, just during the spring semester.

It's not really the same in the Sping, though.

Does it not suck as much?

Depends on how much you enjoyed your group project. It's less of that, I'm told.

Less group work? I guess that means the answer to my question is yes, then.

thinkjose1, how is it different in the spring? can you tell us a little bit more?

This is the official word: "MGMT 100 for Wharotn freshmen is a one semester course in the fall involving a community service project. The version offered in the spring is for internal transfers, dual degree students, and non-Wharton students. That version has a small business consulting project. "
