Management and Society Major

Hello,
I'm a prospective junior transfer from California, and was looking into the Management and Society Major. Classes look interesting and seems like you could go in a lot of different directions as far as employment.

I was wondering if this is a competitive/impacted major..

Also, I would like to do the Business Administration minor. Is that something I would have to apply to once im at UNC, or is anybody enrolled in the University free to pursue the minor?

I have a 3.5 overall gpa but most of my units are from UC Santa Barbara, I have a 4.0 at CC. My understanding is that UNC-CH is probably a stretch, but would I have a decent shot applying as a Management and Society Major?

Thank you for reading this.

As far as I’m aware, none of the majors in the College of Arts and Sciences are impacted.

The Business Administration minor is through Kenan-Flagler and therefore requires a competitive application process (once admitted into UNC). There are pre-requisites as well.

Okay. thank you. I have all the pre-requisites done because I’m playing as a business major at other schools. Was just thinking the minor would be a more realistic option for me if I were to get in the school in general.
