Meanwhile, the level of naivete, stupidity and inaneness in the IB forum here is both appalling and frightening.

As is the level of redundancy. What did you expect though, from a forum where users are primarily high schoolers?

Yes but even for high schoolers, this is a little ridiculous. Just Google search it before asking stupid questions.

Yes, ironic that I double-posted...really don't know how that happened.

Thank you nodnard, I appreciate your input VERY MUCH. I'm sorry if I'm mistaken, but I took it that this website forum was meant specifically for that reason...to ask questions! And whether you take it as stupid or not, the reason the person is probably posting it is not because they were too indolent to get off their ass, but because they probably wanted a REAL WORLD perspecive on things. Did you ever think of that?
Anyway, if you're so obviously ****ed-off quite so frequently, then why do you even waste the time to respond to us naivet

What's stupid is that you post such a basic question in the forum and might have to wait hours for an answer that you could get in 10 minutes of internet searching.

o w n e d .

come on now, you're picking on a girl

Just back off she did nothing to you got it!

Wow, nodnard. Seriously. I don't think you quite got my point there, bud. I guess I'll just have to give it to you in layman's terms then. I had already done my research (more than 10 minutes of it too, might I add) and did find that starting up your own business WHILE working as a management consultant would be an impossible feat. I was just wondering if anyone on here had heard of an example to the contrary, or could share their ideas with me on what they might do in such a situation/predicament. Although, I've got to say that you've ruined this website for me...so I think I'll just have to stick to the good ol' books. At least then I'll know they're not going to bite my head off!

Get some thicker skin if you want to work in finance. And my original post -- where I answered as to what the main difference between consultants and bankers is -- wasn't even in response to anything you said.

And then you went crazy on me for no apparent reason (other than the fact that my post was under yours, so you assumed I must have been responding to your question).

Only THEN did I actually respond to you. After you went crazy on me. For no reason. But whatever, I really don't care. It's an internet forum; I take everything here with less than a pinch of salt.
