Management Major?

I’ve heard a lot of different responses on this major so I was wondering is a major in Business Management a good major? I have recently been looking into majors and stumbled across this one and I’ve always wanted to do something in business.

What do you mean by “good”?

@lostaccount beneficial to me, would I be able to use it, does it have prospect in the future?

Also what’s better business administration or business management?

Just “Management” or “Business Administration” are generally not good majors, in my opinion. This is because you don’t really learn any specific skills as a management major. At Michigan State at least, the management majors take the same core classes that are required across the business school, but then only take a mix of 300 level classes from other majors in the business school. You would be better off selecting a specific major within business, like accounting, finance, supply chain/operations management, or maybe marketing.

@TheSpartan Okay thanks. I would like to do management like for casinos or hotels or companies so I’m not sure what major to choose
