Mandarin / study abroad program in Wesleyan?

I just realized that the most important thing i'm looking for in my college selection is study abroad/language program!!

I am going to start learning Mandarin as soon as i'm done with this college application crap and hope to become something close to being Mandarin-fluent by the time I graduate from college. And also I really wish to study in China through something like exchange student program.

How are Wesleyan Mandarin classes?
Does it have any study abroad program?
And if you can, would you please compare its programs with those of other schools?

Thanks A LOT!

you have to scroll down a bit, but, there seem to be several outside programs approved by the university:
[Wesleyan University - Asian Languages & Literatures](http://www.wesleyan.edu/all/specialprograms.html#studyabroad)

I am fluent in mandarin and I’ve only been here for a few weeks, but I’ve met some people who are extremely good at speaking mandarin (I don’t know how good their reading and writing is). I think they’re only sophomores too. The language classes meet for about an hour each day, and I think it’s quite fast paced and effective.
