Why all of you chinese students can twirl the pen around your fingers?is it your culture??
hahaha...
have you found that??
i also don't know why,it's really that most of chinese students can do that Maybe it's a way to solve the questions.^_^

I think the academic culture (or certain sects thereof) just tends to breed pen-twirling skills. If you go to a debate tournament, you'll sometimes see like 90% of the kids going at it simultaneously. I guess it comes naturally to most people who hold pens in their hands all day.

I couldn't quite get the hang of doing it the proper way, but I've developed a pretty good hack using an extra finger. Most people don't notice the difference when it's happening at full speed.

Pen spinning, most students in Korea are aware of it. Went there myself.
Its great for wasting time.

I thought debaters were the pen twirlers.

ya agree with skp.

I know I certainly can't twirl it.

I can do the pen twirl. haha. hint hint, I'm in debate. After watching people do it alot, you just get the hang of it. now whenever im in class, i do it out of habit and people are like how the hell do you do that. haha.

I've never seen anyone do it!! I'm missing out haha

lol, someone should post a video of a chinese student twirling a pen. :)

holy crap...i remember two people who could twirl their pens like that and both were Asian, one being Chinese. That's pretty funny, but im sure others can do it to (non asians)
