March 12 - Official SAT - General Discussion IS open

stupidtard - at least hes not a jerk like you

How many total right angles are formed by the edges of a cube?

"are you a moron, i cant believe how unfortunatly ignorant you are. For that question where you have 66.6 as the answer, how could you have .6 squirels? What the hell is wrong with you?"

When calling one a retard, please be sure you spell everything correctly.

I think there were 24 right angles. 3 right angles for each corner and 8 corners.

I have opened two new threads to start the process of compiling the "good" answers. It helps avoiding many repeated discussions. Thanks to the volunteers!

baggins, it said formed by edges, i don't think that includes corners??

thanks. I didn't have a chance to look at all the stuff people posted.

baggins: 24 is what I originally thought. It could also be 12 if only the edges count, or 36 if the corner angles and the edge angles are considered distinct.

I thought about this for several minutes. Which is it??

anyone remember the sentence completion w/ something... embarrased?

what about the one w/ plasticity as an answer?

and the reading quesiton about the old lady reacting to the quote about how she hadn't changed? was it misinformed

The edges join at the corners. which is the only place they could form right angles.

plasticity was correct, i'm about 99% sure, we talked about it in psychology

i think i got 24 for the right angles one . . . 4 for each face, 6 faces total

Writing
against majority rule
-Dred Scott trial
-Crucible
good, bad, okay?

20/20: I think I chose embarrassed (two s's) and plasticity. Don't remember the old lady question.

i put b for that. the embarrased one. I didn't put embarrased but I did consider it a lot. I also didn't put plasticity. I think i over thought it but I wish I would have stayed with it. It seems to make more sense now that im not rushing.

plasticity was correct...I had almost an identical question on a practice review question I took yesterday.

the cube one was or was not 24?

i'm not sure which one you're talking about for the embarrassed one? what was the question?

not sure which old lady qauestion you're talking about either

I got 24 for the right angle square one, dude, english-cultural passage SUCKED, and the math to be-compared to old was difficult, or maybe today wasn't my day?

I think the cube one was 24. I don't know what it could be other than that.

The math seemed much easier than the old one for me. I think thats because this stuff is much more recent for me.

So let's talk essay--how'd you all think?

I wrote about Plato's Crito (Socrates' death)
and Civil Disobediance with King and Gandhi, basically how following the "poor guide" of the majority prompted civil disobediance... Essay, i dunno.

Verbal was OK, math I screwed up. Maybe 8 wrong. Jeez. :(
